At the heart of it lies the subject of cloning, as seen through the lens of Barbra Streisand's choice to clone her dog.
It also touches upon the corresponding ideas of celebrity and wealth in the age of accessibility; the uncanniness of
doubles; the history of the relationship between humans and dogs; and the potential future cloning of humans.
